I have been in love with labor and delivery since I started my OB rotation in nursing school in 1980 and never looked back!
I received my Master's Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from California State University, Fresno and then earned my Certification in Midwifery from University California San Francisco in 1999. I did full scope midwifery in private practice in Fresno in addition to working as a clinical faculty teaching OBGYN residents for UCSF at a busy regional medical center in Fresno, CA.
Caring for women and their families is an honor and privilege for me and I am committed to promoting and supporting the normal physiological processes of labor and birth. On a personal note, I have two grown children, a son and a daughter. Since moving to Southern California, I find great joy living at the beach!
