Part-Time Associate Project Scientist
Responsible to develop and apply cutting edge in vitro and in vivo methodologies to investigate key molecular pathophysiological questions in investigator-initiated research projects. Initiate and foster collaborative relationships with local investigators to advance common research interests and prepare research proposals with collaborating investigators. Implement programs utilizing novel experimental models to identify and validate pathogenic mechanisms and test various therapeutic candidates. Oversee project implementation of the group.
Ph.D. in Pathophysiology or related field. Experience and expertise in molecular pathophysiology and therapeutic development related to chronic inflammation and metabolism research. Demonstrated ability to initiate and foster collaborative relationships with local investigators to advance common research interests. Strong record of research proposal preparation with collaborating investigators preferred.
