UCLA OBGYN is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Tsai as a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor. Dr. Tsai completed her medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia and her obstetrics and gynecology residency at University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. She has practiced general OB/GYN in Northern California. Her clinical interests include family planning, minimally-invasive surgery, and teen and adolescent health. She sees patients in our UCLA OBGYN office in Santa Monica.
World Mental Health Day is observed on October 10th every year to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilize efforts in support of mental health. To that end, Dr. Rashmi Rao, UCLA OBGYN Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor, and Dr. Aparna Sridhar, UCLA OBGYN Health Sciences Associate Clinical Professo, have teamed with the UCLA Grand Depression Challenge to lead the “Perinatal Mood and Behavioral Tracking Study,” to better understand risk factors for pregnancy-related depression in order to improve diagnosis and treatment.
